Una fantastica collezione che raccoglie tutto quanto inciso per la EMI da questo gruppo, sconosciuto ai più, ma molto importante nella storia del rock UK, in quanto embrione dei più famosi Gentle Giant che si imposero qualche anno più tardi sulla scena del progressive. In questo doppio CD, rimasterizzato veramente molto bene, ritroviamo l’unico LP mai pubblicato (Without Reservations – 1967) e tutti i singoli successivamente venuti alla luce nel periodo psichedelico della band che aveva iniziato con uno stile più prossimo all’R&B dello Spencer Davis Group.
Sono presenti inoltre tutti i brani (tracce da 1 a 16 del disco 2) di un LP mai rilasciato (Once More Unto the Breach, Dear Friend).
Il gruppo ottenne anche un discreto successo commerciale con la pubblicazione del singolo Kites (brano 15 CD1) che conteneva sonorità musicali orientaleggianti e melodie molto piacevoli. Tutta la raccolta è comunque di notevole spessore artistico e si differenzia moltissimo dalla successiva produzione dei Gentle Giant. Insomma una band da non dimenticare.
